Swazi Bolt Elected Chairperson Of National Athlete Association.

Sibusiso “Swazi Bolt” Matsenjwa has been elected as the Chairperson of the National athletes association.

Matsenjwa recently participated in the 2020 Olympics and break the 200m national record twice and became the first Liswati to reach the semi-final stage of the competition.

He has since been elected to lead the commission that was established on the 17th September 2021.

Meanwhile, the Eswatini Sports and recreation Council took to it’s Social Media Pages to congratulate the athlete on his new position.

The Council revealed that Matsenjwa’s role in the new commission among other roles is to represent all athletes countrywide at the NOC.

The rest of the members making up the executive committee of the Athletes Commission are Darren Dunn from cycling, who is the vice chairperson, Phumlile Ndzinisa from athletics, Simanga Dlamini from swimming and Thabiso Dlamini from boxing.
