Police To Be Deployed To Ensure That PSA March Does Not Happen.

National Commissioner of Police William Tsintsibala Dlamini says Police will be diployed to ensure that the much anticipated Public Sector Association (PSA) March does Not take place.

The march that was granted permission by the Municipal Council of Mbabane was set to commerce at the Mbabane Coronation park to the Ministry of Public Service where a petition for salary review among other griviences was suppose to be delivered.

In a statement released by the Police Information and Communication Office on behalf of the national Commissioner, it was revealed that the march has now been prohibited by the national Commissioner in terms of the public order act.

“Through this press release, the Nation is advised that the planned protest march has been prohibited by the national Commissioner in terms of Section 9 (2), (3)(b) and (6) of the public order Act,12 of 2017, in the interest of national security, public order and safety,” read the statement.

The National Commissioner said the prohibition was communicated to the PSAs, constituencies and other allies.

“To this end, there is no march expected to be staged tomorrow by the PSAs and the Police will be all out to ensure that the prohibition order is enforces,” added the national Commissioner.
