Mbabane bus rank marshal shot during the public transport workers demonstrations.
The bus rank Marshal was allegedly shot by members of the Royal Eswatini Police Service who were reportedly dispersing protesters the the Mbabane industrial site on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Public Transport operators in the Kingdom of Eswatini engage in demonstrations in some major cities on the country which resulted in the dead of one of the workers in Malkens.
The demonstrations entered the second day on Thursday which saw the bus rank Marshal and Ka Shewula students being shot in the legs by members of the Royal Eswatini Police Service.
In a statement that was released by the Swaziland Transport Communication and Allied Union (SWATCAWU), the public operators condemned the excessive use of force by law enforcement agencies and also vouched to continue grounding the country until their demands are met by the Eswatini government.
Among other demands, the protesting transport operators and students are calling for the release of arrested Members of parliament in Mduduzi Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.
Meanwhile, the Liphimbo Labomake has already sanctioned regional petition delivery exercises against police brutality among other demands.
