Currently operating in a fintech sandbox environment regulated by the Central Bank of Eswatini, DeltaPay is testing and refining its digital payment offerings with the highest standards of security, usability, and effectiveness for everyone. The sandbox environment enables DeltaPay to collaborate with regulators, industry partners, and users to pave the way for a seamless nationwide launch.
Chief Financial Officer Adam Hulse says, “Since launching our operations in the sandbox in April 2024, targeting Ezulwini, we have seen growing interest from both individuals and businesses, with the likes of OK Foods Corner Plaza, Galitos Corner Plaza, Elite Catering Suppliers, eMali and InstaCash already onboarded as merchant partners.” He further states, “While we are in the sandbox environment, we are in discussions with established players like banks and mobile money service providers, as well as new businesses in need of digital payment solutions, to ensure that we collectively drive financial inclusion for emaSwati.”
