The Ministry of Labour and Social Security, responsible for overseeing the Government Scholarship Programme (PTET) supporting students in local tertiary institutions, shared the information with all affected students. The delay in the disbursement of allowances is attributed to unforeseen circumstances, and the government is actively working in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance to expedite the process.

In the press statement, the Ministry assured students that further communication regarding the payment would be provided in due course. The government emphasized its commitment to prioritizing the welfare of students and acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the delay.
