MTN Eswatini Unveils An Acting CEO

MTN Eswatini has unveiled Head of Corporate Services Sibusiso Nhleko as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the company. This announcement follows the appointment of His Excellency Ambrose Dlamini as the new Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini. Dlamini was appointend by His Majesty King Mswati III Saturday at Ludzidzini Royal Resident cattle byre which marked the end of a 3 day People’s Parliament.

Speaking during a press conference that was held at Mahlalekhukhwini House earlier today, MTN Board Chairman David Dlamini announced that Sibusiso Nhleko will be acting as CEO until a substantive candidate is announced. “In the absence of a CEO at MTN, Head of Corporate Services Sibusiso Nhleko will be acting Chief Executive Officer until a substantive candidate is announced”, submitted Dlamini.

Dlamini first congratulated His Excellency Ambrose Dlamini on behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and staff for his appointment by their Majesty as Head of Government. He further expressed gratitude towards the news Prime Minister’s massive contribution he made since he joined MTN Eswatini in 2010.

Dlamini then outlined the involvement of the His Excellency Ambrose Dlamini in growing MTN Eswatini which includes but not limited to improving staff engagement, growing internship programs, stimulating innovations and creating a high-performance culture at MTN Eswatini. Under the leadership of His Excellency, MTN Eswatini accrued numerous accolades of excellence, strategic positioning MTN and the country across all operation emphasized Dlamini during the conference. He further pointed out that MTN family and stakeholders are confident that His Excellency and his team in the government of Eswatini will add value to the advancement of the country as it moves towards the First World Status.
