Bigger and Better Gcwalisa Mogambo This Year

Emaswati could see a bigger and better Gcwalisa Mogambo as this year’s event manage to rope in the support of MTN Eswatini which is a giant mobile telecommunication company in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Gcwalisa Mogambo is an annual event that is scheduled on the 1st of September at the Sibayeni Lodge. This year’s edition will be featuring 12 local artists including the likes of Lyrical Buster, KrTc, Loma Soul as well as Symphony just to mention a few. Well-known local comedian and SWAMA Award nominee under the category of the Best comedian has been revealed as the MC for this year’s event alongside with Imitsanyelo Model Saneh.

Tickets to the second edition of Gcwalisa Mogambo are now available and selling through MTN MoMo famously known as Mobile Money. Making this announcement was the MTN Ambassador and Gcwalisa Mogambo host Illa Penboy who also voiced out through his Facebook post that General tickets are accompanied by 150 Data bundles and is selling at E150.

Aspiring VIP attendees would be happy to learn that VIP tickets are selling at E350 that also comes with 300 Data bundles. On top of the 300 Data bundles, 5 people purchasing the 200 VIP tickets also stand a chance to win an international Summer Trip with the host. During the event, the VIPs will also get an exclusive VIP treatment, free welcoming Champaign as well as hanging with international guest celebrities that haven’t been announced yet.

Last year gcwalisa Mogambo event took place on the 30th of September featuring 18 local artists and was attended by more than 400 people who braved harsh weathers on that day. Apart from the Gcwalisa Mogambo party, Illa Penboy has also successfully hosted the Black and Yello party as well as the Cooler Box party. On the 22nd of December, the Rapper will be hosting the inaugural of Yithi Abantu that will take place in the Shiselweni region for the Shiselweni people.
